G-Mach – Rotor + Stator – Local

The pump unit consisting of the Rotor & Stator is the beating heart of GRC / GFRC and cement mortar pumping machines. Because cementitious mixtures contain abrasive materials such as sand, quartz, and fine aggregates, the requirements for durability and friction resistance in these parts become a critical standard to ensure the continuity of production lines and the quality of architectural decorative finishes.

IDEA for Engineering Industries offers the ideal engineering solution through its locally manufactured G Mach Rotor + Stator set. This set has been locally manufactured and developed to the highest standards of engineering precision to be an effective and highly efficient alternative to imported sets, providing GRC manufacturers and contractors with strong, stable performance and a constant flow rate that ensures homogeneous coverage through spray guns without pressure fluctuations.

Specifications of the G Mach Rotor + Stator Set (Local)

This set is designed to operate on the Progressive Cavity / Screw Pump system, where the mechanical properties of the rotor and stator integrate to achieve the highest suction and pumping efficiency:

Technical and Engineering Specifications

  • Rotor: A helical shaft made of high-durability alloy steel, heat-treated and resistant to mechanical wear and abrasion caused by cement slurry particles.
  • Stator: An outer steel cylinder lined with a high-grade flexible elastomer capable of withstanding pressures and heat generated by friction, while resisting the alkaline chemical materials in cement.
  • Drive System: An eccentric screw that ensures tightly sealed pumping chambers, preventing the material from flowing backward.
  • Manufacturing Nature: Locally crafted by Egyptian engineering hands according to precise dimensions matching the original machines.

Operational Compatibility

  • Machine Compatibility: Fully compatible with G-Mach category GRC pumping machines (such as G-Mach-02, G-Mach-M07) and other similar architectural mortar pumps.
  • Suitable Pumping Range: Supports flow rates that ensure mortar reaches the spray gun smoothly, with pumping pressures reaching the standard working levels for GRC projects.
  • Supported Material Types: Fine cement and sand mixes, GRC/GFRC mortar, and plastering and decorative paste.

Features of the G Mach Rotor and Stator Set

1. Superior Pumping Efficiency and Homogeneous Flow

  • Provides a smooth and continuous flow of cementitious mortar, preventing sudden blockages inside the hoses and the spray gun.
  • Maintains stable hydraulic pressure, which directly reflects on the quality of spraying and distributing fibers and cement onto GRC molds without gaps or agglomerations.

2. Exceptional Abrasion Resistance and Longer Operational Life

  • The surface treatment of the rotor's metal reduces the friction coefficient and increases its hardness against coarse particles.
  • The stator's rubber lining possesses sufficient flexibility to absorb shocks and contain particles while maintaining a tight seal against internal leakage.

3. Economic Feasibility and Rapid Availability

  • Cost Savings: Significantly reduces operation and maintenance costs compared to expensive imported spare parts.
  • Supply Readiness: Avoids prolonged machine downtime due to its constant availability within Egypt and ease of shipping to neighboring Arab markets.

Instructions for Use, Installation, and Maintenance

To achieve the maximum lifespan for the rotor and stator unit and maintain the machine's pumping capacity, the following engineering guidelines must be followed:

Installation Instructions

  1. Check Cleanliness: Ensure the removal of any cement residues or old impurities in the feeding chamber and pump inlet before installation.
  2. Use Approved Lubricant: It is strictly prohibited to insert the rotor into the stator dry; a suitable lubricant (such as diluted liquid soap or dedicated assembly foam) must be used to facilitate rotor entry and protect the inner rubber.
  3. Firm and Balanced Tightening: Ensure the rotation axis is aligned and tighten the tie rods equally and deliberately without excessive pressure that could strain the machine's motor.

Operation Instructions

  1. Avoid Dry Running: Never operate the pumping machine without liquid or initial priming paste, as dry friction will damage the stator's rubber lining within mere seconds.
  2. Adjust Mix Consistency: Ensure the GRC mix is homogeneous and free of dry lumps or gravel exceeding the permitted size by using a protective screen/sieve above the machine's hopper.

Maintenance and Daily Cleaning Instructions

  1. Immediate Flushing: Upon completing the work cycle, the pressure line and the rotor + stator unit must be washed immediately with clean water and sponge cleaning balls until the water comes out completely clear.
  2. Proper Storage: In case the machine is stopped for long periods, it is preferable to disassemble the rotor and stator, clean and dry them, and apply a protective coating to the rubber to prevent drying and hardening.
